Introduction to Mediation and Conflict Management (Spring)

This intro course is an overview of conflict management, mediation and negotiation taught as a 3-day module. This course is a pre-requisite for Family Mediation and for Conflict Management Level 2 and is approved by the ADR Institute. This Intro course along with Level 2 will provide participants with a 40 hour certificate from ADRIO.

Conflict Management Overview (3 days)

  • Conflict management concepts and strategies
  • Arbitration principles and procedures
  • Interest-based negotiation
  • Conflict coaching
  • Mediation principles and processes
  • Communication skills for managing conflict
